I find most chocolate cupcakes are overly sweet and lack depth of flavour. That’s why I decided to experiment with finely ground hazelnuts and coconut sugar to create a cupcake that’s both moist and light to eat, but still delivers on intense, chocolatey goodness. I don’t bake with ground nuts as much as I would like to (the expense!) but when I do, I’m always reminded of my preference to regular flour. These cupcakes are a real treat. Even without the chocolate ganache frosting!
