There’s something delightfully indulgent about slipping away from your ordinary rhythm and pressing pause for a few days. Thats precisely why we booked a spontaneous trip to Melbourne ~ a city humming with art, food, and unexpected quiet corners, and it was, in a word, excellent. Just the right blend of stimulation and slowness, the bustle of a different place, with the ease of doing none of the usual home tasks and responsibilities.
It was our first overseas adventure with Bernie, now 8 months old, and I can honestly say: I fell in love with travel all over again!
